Yes. All participants must first complete the online application form. The jury committee will conduct a review, and only after being selected will you be notified to make payment. This ensures fairness and the quality of exhibited works.

Selection is carried out by a professional team of international curators and professors (see Curator Team page). Works are judged based on creativity, artistic value, and feasibility for international display. Results are usually announced within one week after application.

The fee covers: • Exhibition venue, setup/dismantling services, and reception • Certificate of participation with the association seal • Inclusion in international press release (permanent link, usable for CVs) • Exposure on official association social media • Event photography (cloud download link within one month) • FamilyMart FamiPort listing (4,300+ kiosks in Taiwan, fans can print your artwork postcards)

Not included: artwork transportation, customs duties, insurance, and additional production needs. • Artwork insurance: ALEA provides coverage up to USD 300 per piece during the exhibition if damage or loss is caused by the association. • Transportation liability: If works are lost or damaged before arrival and acceptance at the venue, please claim through your courier. ALEA is not responsible. • Pre-exhibition assurance: If works are lost or damaged before opening, artists may request to replace with new works, with ALEA’s assistance.

Each exhibited work unit must be within 80×80×80cm. Venue specifications may vary, but standard wall panels and booth spaces are provided. 3D, video, and new media works are all accepted. Video/new media will be displayed via Bluetooth projection.

Shipping is not included. Participants must cover their own transportation costs.

Yes. Taiwan participants are eligible for a 30% discount on DHL GoGreen eco-shipping.

Yes. Overseas participants must handle their own shipping and customs clearance. ALEA will provide recipient details and guidelines but does not cover costs.

Yes. ALEA has joined the Gallery Climate Coalition (GCC). We are committed to carbon-reduction practices, including low-carbon logistics (such as DHL GoGreen), digital processes, and eco-friendly materials.

The venue provides basic safeguarding, but we strongly recommend participants purchase their own insurance to cover transportation and exhibition periods.

Yes. On-site sales follow a 30% (association) / 70% (artist) commission split, clearly stated in the contract.

Sales proceeds are transferred within 30 days of buyer payment, minus 5% VAT. Official receipts and detailed reports are provided.

Yes. All selected participants receive floor plans and free VIP tickets. Guest tickets are also available upon request, but must be arranged one month in advance.

In case of force majeure (such as pandemic or venue policy changes), alternative schedules or venues will be provided. If you cannot participate, refunds or reserved qualifications are available per contract.

Documentation includes exhibition photos, short videos, media links, and inclusion in international press releases and official social media.

Yes. All participants are listed in the official online roster.

All participants receive certificates and press records. Recommendation letters from international professors or ALEA’s board are available as an add-on (NTD 10,000 each).

Yes. Opening activities include guided tours, media interviews, and VIP networking. Artists may apply for presentation or tour slots. Overseas participants should prepare English introductions.

Participation fees come with official receipts. Artwork sales follow local tax rules. After tax and commission deductions, the balance is transferred to the participant’s account.

The organizer can help arrange return shipping, but costs are borne by the participant. Continued use of DHL GoGreen is recommended for both sustainability and cost savings.
