ALEA’s programs are curated and operated with limited administrative overhead, so we generally do not provide direct cash sponsorships or ongoing subsidies for individual creation costs. Any discounts or fee waivers—if available—are announced publicly for specific programs and are granted based on clear criteria and limited quotas. If you’re seeking funding support, we recommend applying through government cultural grants, school funding, or recognized foundations in your region.
We respect and support artists from diverse backgrounds, but ALEA is not a government agency and cannot verify or administer public-welfare eligibility. For financial hardship support, please use official government or accredited social-welfare channels in your country/region. If a program includes an accessibility or hardship policy, it will be stated on the program page and evaluated under the published rules.
As a non-profit organization, ALEA prioritizes allocating resources to program delivery—such as curation, venue coordination, international communications, documentation, and media distribution—so that participating artists receive verifiable exposure and academic/industry value. When external sponsors or partners provide dedicated funding, we may offer scholarships or fee reductions under transparent terms.
If you need financial support, we recommend exploring: (1) government cultural grants and social-welfare programs, (2) university/department funding, (3) local arts councils, (4) accredited foundations, and (5) corporate CSR or brand sponsorship programs. Requirements and application processes vary by region, so please consult official channels for eligibility and documentation.
