Call for Entries: The 2nd Red Envelope Illustration Design Award — 2027 Year of the Goat
Updated: 2 days ago
The 2nd Red Envelope Illustration Design Award — 2027 Year of the Goat (第二屆 2027 羊年紅包袋插畫設計比賽), organized by DE Global Art Agency (蝶映藝術文化有限公司), opened on 9 September 2026 and is now accepting entries. Red envelopes are the most widespread and familiar way to send Lunar New Year blessings, and this edition invites creators to reimagine their visual language around the Year of the Goat. The top three works in each division will be published on FamiPort at more than 4,000 FamilyMart stores across Taiwan for the public to print and use — a chance for your design to become a New Year blessing for millions of families. Sixteen schools took part in the first edition, the 2026 “Good Fortune on Horseback” Red Envelope Illustration Competition (2026 馬上好運:紅包袋插畫大賽), and its winning designs went on FamiPort before Lunar New Year’s Eve for the public to print. This edition follows the same model and gives supervising teachers and schools more formal recognition.

By entering, you agree that if your work places in the top three of its division, the organizer may digitize it and publish it on FamiPort free of charge for the listing period, and that the organizer may use entries to promote this and future editions of the competition (press releases, social media, publications and exhibitions) without payment. Print fees paid by the public go to FamilyMart, and creators receive no royalties from them. Physical works are not returned.
How to Enter
Get the template: Search “蝶映藝術 FamiPort 人氣館” online and open the DE Global Art Agency ALEA Featured Gallery (蝶映藝術 ALEA 人氣館) on FamilyMart FamiPort cloud printing. Find “羊年紅包袋參賽樣式” (Year of the Goat entry template) to get the print code, then print the official A4 red envelope template at any FamilyMart FamiPort kiosk, paying the print fee there. Entrants outside Taiwan can request the template file by email (see “International entrants” below).
Create your design: Draw directly on the official template in any medium (hand drawing, watercolor, gouache, collage, printmaking or mixed media). For digital work, scan the template, complete your design on a computer and print it out. Fold the finished piece into a red envelope along the fold lines, keeping the template’s fold lines and structure fully intact so that winning designs can be digitized.
Pay and register online: Pay the entry fee for your division (see “Pay the Entry Fee” below), then complete the online registration form on the registration page, entering the last 5 digits of your payment or your transaction number. Entrants under 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the form.
Mail your work: Send the folded red envelope together with the printed entry form, postmarked by 31 December 2026, to: DE Global Art Agency, 4F, No. 40, Changchun Rd., Zhongshan Dist., Taipei City 104, Taiwan. On the back of your work, write your name, the title of the work and your phone number in pencil (students should also add their school and supervising teacher). Pack it carefully so it does not get creased; the organizer is not responsible for damage or loss in the post.
※ Registration is complete only when you have done both of the following: paid the entry fee online, and printed the entry template at a FamilyMart FamiPort kiosk and paid the print fee. Entry fees are non-refundable unless the organizer cancels the competition.
Pay the Entry Fee
Entrants in Taiwan — ECPay: Pay by credit card or at a convenience store. On the registration page, use the payment button or scan the QR code for your division. The amount paid must match your division; a payment made under the wrong division does not count as a completed registration.

After paying: Complete the online registration form with the last 5 digits of your payment or your transaction number. After submitting it, print the entry form (PDF) and mail it together with your work.
