Kyla Artist Prize – International Curator Rising Star Award





Organized by DE Global Art Agency, Ltd. | 2025 Curatorial Internship and Grant Program

We are seeking the next emerging curator with international potential and professional qualifications. The winner will join our international curatorial team on visits to Europe and Asia, actively participating in the planning and execution of international art fairs and exhibitions.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Aged 21 or above.

  • Possess a degree in art, design, architecture, cultural studies, or related fields.

  • Have formal education experience in art programs in Europe, the USA, Japan, or Korea, or hold proof of overseas art education (e.g., exchange programs, graduate studies, advanced courses).

  • English proficiency meeting one of the following: IELTS 7.0, TOEIC 850, or GEPT High-Intermediate Level.

Note: Applicants without an art-related degree or without curatorial courses in their curriculum must first complete the "International Curatorial Practice Training Course" and obtain an official certificate from DE Global Art Agency, Ltd.

Course Details:

Application Materials (PDF format):

  • Academic certificate.

  • English proficiency certificate.

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) focusing on curatorial or artistic experience.

  • Records of past curatorial, exhibition, or cultural activities (images or links).

  • Curatorial aptitude essay (2,000 words in English).

Essay Topic:

"Curating Across Borders: Building Transcultural Narratives in Contemporary Art"

Essay Requirements:

  • Clearly structured with the following sections:

    • Title & Abstract

    • Curatorial Theme & Social Context

    • Exhibition Structure & Spatial Strategy

    • Artists & Collaboration Models

    • Conclusion

    • References (APA or MLA format)

Application Fee:

  • €100

Award Benefits:

  • Hourly wage based on internship hours (excluding meals and daily expenses).
